I’ve added two sets of magazine scans to the gallery. Both articles are from Starlog magazine and come from 1996 and 1998 when Mitch was playing AD Walter Skinner on THE X-FILES. In both articles he talks about Skinner and his relationship to Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson). The 1998 article focuses in on the film THE X-FILES: FIGHT THE FUTURE and Skinner’s evolution in terms of his help to Mulder and Scully. Mitch also talks lovingly about series creator Chris Carter and about his having no desire whatsoever to write or direct. That’s our Mitch. He also talks about Arlene and Sawyer and being a father for the first time. I’m in the process of getting both articles typed up and put in the press section. Until that time the HQ scans are there for you to click on to bring up and you can read them yourselves. Enjoy.

To Mitch’s Canadian THE X-FILES fans. The Investigation Discovery Channel is currently running the show every morning at 5:00 am. Mitch’s episodes are just starting to air so I thought I’d give the heads up on this. One Breath just passed so we’re into season two. I wrote the station asking if they plan on airing all nine seasons, right now all they plan on airing are the first five. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the CanCon rules, but I’m hoping they’ve managed to get a hold of all nine. If any of you want to call or write them to ask them to get all nine, feel free.

I found an appearance Mitch did with Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) and Robert Patrick (John Doggett) in an X-FILES panel at the Calgary Expo on 28 April 2013. Mitch looked handsom as always. Enjoy.

My apologies for not having this up before now, but I’ve been dealing with computer problems and personal issues that prevented my from being able to post these on Monday. I’m going to be getting my new computer by Friday that should mean I’ll be able to do things faster. Hopefully.

Onto the show. Mitch is such a talented actor but my golly Harris is just plain EVULL. Even Hoarce Pinker wasn’t this bad. Having Drew (Kuno Becker) beaten up and the result shown to Emma (Emma Bell) was just this side of, well, EVULL. Harris’ alliance with the new governor played by Steven Weber just shows how much he wants to bring the Ewings down. I’m wondering if Mitch called William B. Davis (Cancer Man, THE X-FILES) to get some pointers. My only hope is they haven’t written Harris into a corner. I was truly hoping they’d begin to make Harris a bit of a sheep in wolf’s clothing. Meaning begin to soften the corners after having Judith (Judith Light) committed. Perhaps see what made him do the things he did. I’m wondering if it’s more a case of when the cat’s away, the mice….. Well you know what I mean.

  • [ 0001 ] VIDEO: DALLAS – E2X11 LET ME IN

Apologies this is so late. I had a doctor’s appointment early Tuesday and was feeling abysmal when I got home so I laid down for a while and ended up falling asleep. Hopefully it’ll never happen again…hardly.

What can be said about this episode except electric. Mitch and Judith Light were on fire. Yeah I know I keep enthusing about this but I’m so loving the dynamic they bring in their roles and I’m more than delighted with the quality of the writing Mitch is receiving. Other than on THE X-FILES, Mitch hasn’t gotten good writing on anything he’s been on since. I was so disappointed with his stint on SUPERNATURAL as Samuel Campbell I cannot say. I’ve just felt no one sees what Mitch is capable of due to his looks. What I’m loving about DALLAS is they don’t see him as a mustache twirling villain. They’re writing him with substance. We’re seeing so many layers with this and Mitch is killing it. Add to that Judith Light and their scenes are just dynamic. I guess I could add SONS OF ANARCHY to that list, but Kurt Sutter never really knew what he was doing with Earnest Darby, i feel. Anyway I was just riveted to my television the whole time Mitch and Judith were on. Loved this shot particularly.

Mitch Pileggi as Harris Ryland and Judith Light as his mother Judith in episode seven of 'Dalls' on TNT.
