I’ve been trying to clear out the backlog in my Mitch screencapping and clipping so I have three new things for your viewing enjoyment. The first is one of Mitch’s early television credits, an episode of the Vietnam nursing drama CHINA BEACH and the other two are the films DEATH WISH 4: THE CRACKDOWN and RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD PART II. Remember, if you’re going to take images from the gallery for fanart, there is no need to credit back. However, if you’re going to take for the purpose of reposting someplace else, please credit back to ARTISAN – MITCH PILEGGI ONLINE and include the url http://mitchpileggi.org. Thanks.

I knew about this episode only a couple of weeks ago and believed it wasn’t due to come up until 2012, however, I found it only just aired a couple of weeks ago. Through the magic of the internet, I was able to get a copy. Mitch plays the part of Paul Randall, the former partner of the lead character’s father played by one of my favourite actors, Treat Williams. Though the show is your typical TV fare particularly for the Lifetime channel, the chance to see the one scene with Mitch and Treat was a gift. I only wish there had been more. I’ve been a fan of Treat’s since he starred as George Berger in the 1979 Milos Forman film of the Gerome Ragni, James Rado and Galt McDermott tribal musical HAIR. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that Mitch and Treat didn’t have any significant scenes together, given both actors accumen. Anyway Mitch is a gift at any point. He’s looking good. Remember, if you’re going to repost images or clip someplace else, please link back to ARTISAN ~ MITCH PILEGGI ONLINE. And again, please don’t take images for your own websites. This site has taken a lot of time to put together and I’d like to make sure my content remains that. Thanks in advance.

I’ve finally gotten around to clipping up Mitch’s episodes from his two outings as DEA Agent Jack Hammond from the NBC procedural LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT. I’m trying to get as much diversity as I can into the media site as I can so as to show the broad range of Mitch’s work. I have such a backlog of stuff that it’s difficult to figure out what to do first. I really wanted to get these done, so here they are. Enjoy.

As if you can’t tell, we have a new layout…. Except for some minor tweaks as I see little ones. I’ve been working on this for the past couple of weeks and it’s finally done. Both the gallery and the main site here have new looks. I hope you like the changes. I know I do.

According to EW.COM, Mitch is joinging the DALLAS reboot in a multi-episode arc. More below the cut:

‘X Files’ veteran joins TNT’s ‘Dallas’ — EXCLUSIVE

by James Hibberd
An X Files veteran and former Seattle Grace bigwig is signing onto TNT’s Dallas.

Mitch Pileggi has joined the show for a multi-episode arc playing Harris Ryland, owner of Ryland Trucking and Shipping. He’s described as an “alpha male” and Ann’s (Brenda Strong) ex-husband.

Since his role as FBI Assistant Director Walter Skinner on X Files, Pileggi has been the king of multi-episode arcs on hit series. He’s had stints on Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, Medium, and Grey’s Anatomy. TNT’s Dallas was recently rocked by the news that co-star Larry Hagman has been diagnosed with cancer. But the actor best known for the original 1980s version of Dallas is still expected to participate in new show, which is set to premiere next summer. If you haven’t yet seen the Dallas trailer, you can find it here.

This new reboot doesn’t start until 2012, but make sure to keep stopping by. I’ll have all the news and media for you.
